Aimee Bai, co-founder of Youke Apparel Factory, grew up in a remote, underdeveloped mountain village in northwest China. Born into a humble family, she watched many peers drop out of school at an early age to work and support their families. Yet her parents held fast to one unwavering belief: no matter how hard life was, they would work extra farming lands and sell grain to send their three children to school. In their isolated hometown, education was the only way to break the cycle and step out of the mountains. This frugal, responsible, and persevering family atmosphere shaped her down-to-earth, trustworthy, and never-give-up character — the foundational spirit of our factory’s integrity-based operation.
