Aimee’s educational journey was a constant uphill battle. She attended a village primary school, boarded at a town junior high school, moved to a county senior high school, and finally pursued university in a first-tier metropolis. Held back by limited rural educational resources, she repeatedly found herself at the bottom of her class every time she advanced to a higher school, far behind peers from urban areas. She did not even start learning English until junior high school, struggling desperately to keep up with her coursework. But fueled by an innate resilience and refusal to accept defeat, she persisted in her studies, determined to rewrite her fate. Ultimately, she earned her university admission and stepped out of the mountains to embrace the wider world.Aimee’s self-reliance, creativity and professionalism earned her outstanding achievements during college.During college, to ease her parents’ financial burden, Aimee took the initiative to work part-time and cover her own living expenses. While working at a campus print shop, she identified a huge untapped demand for advertising and design services on campus. She taught herself Photoshop proactively, then volunteered her services to university departments and student associations, designing event posters, flyers, business cards and more. Blessed with a natural aesthetic sense, solid technical skills and outstanding communication ability, she quickly built a strong reputation across the entire campus. Her side income not only covered full tuition and living costs but also allowed her to buy her first personal computer and even relieved her parents of part of the family living expenses. — an achievement that astonished her family.
